40 years after Goscinny’s passing, the Art&History Museum of Judaism presents the first retrospective dedicated to the author of Astérix and Petit Nicolas.

The exhibition displayed 200 works, included drawing board and unedited scenarios, with many documents from Goscinny archives.

We’ve been to the exhibition and it was worth it. The first part is dedicated to his family and his youth, from France to Argentina to the USA to..France, and is very well documented(pictures of his family, books from the printing press he was working in with his father and his sketch books).

Then, you will see how his career took off in France & Belgium. He works with all the main cartoonist at the time and was very productive, mosty as a screen writer.

The exhibition ends with a great wall of all of his flashes of wit and i guarantee that you will laugh.
